Our Trail Flex system is designed for 1979-1985 Toyota Pickups and 4-Runners.
During these years Toyota supplied their 4WD trucks with 8" Solid Axles Front and Rear.
This kit is designed especially for Toyota's 8" Solid Axles and will yield up to 21" of travel.
As with all of our kits, we try to use as much USA Manufactured Parts as we can source.
The Hilux was born in Japan and it will be raised in the USA.
Standard in the kit are our High Quality long travel springs, USA-made Billet High Steer Arms,
USA-made steel parts, USA-made brake lines, and German-built Bilstein long travel shocks.
The springs we use are longer than stock springs, so new mounts for the front and rear are also provided.
This kit includes our World Famous High Steer Kit that eliminates the factory push/pull steering setup.
A 1986-95 IFS-style steering box is required and not included.
We recommend rebuilding your front axle at this time with our differential and knuckle service options.
